Wender Lin 林文德

Dr. Lin was
born in Taipei in 1938. He graduated from National Taiwan University and later
received his Master degree and Ph.D. in Engineering from University of
Saskatchewan University, Canada. He is currently an engineer in Hydrology in
the Environment Department of Alberta, Canada.
Special Achievement
Under the alias of Dong Fang Bai, he wrote the novel " Lang
Tao Sah" depicting the fate and hard working style of Taiwanese, which is his
representative work on humanitarianism. He is a pioneer of Taiwan folk
literature. His writings also include a Chinese novel " Lake Louis" and five
books of short articles such as " Gold Dream". He has described his course of
ten-years in literature writing experiences in the book " Literature of Taiwan
at Two Places".
